Herb a Day Campaign: Rosemary | Rosmarinus officinalis

Herb a day Campaign : Rosemary She such a beautiful plant with her blue blooms. Rosemary doesn’t need a lot of attention either. She doesn’t want to be fussed over or doted on. But, for the simple things to you do for her, she rewards you greatly. Rosemary is great for increasing circulation. I love it in formulas for brain health for this reason. It can reduce the effects of macular degeneration when used diligently. It helps with increasing brain function and reducing brain aging for some people. Rosemary fights infection so it’s a great addition to teas for immune health during the cold and flu outbreaks. Hair, hair, hair. Rosemary loves to help stimulate hair growth. It gets more circulation on the scalp and lends itself to new hair growth. The essential oil put into a carrier such as jojoba oil and massaged into the areas you want really does seem to help in seeing those new baby hairs sprouting. Add it to your soups for great flavor and amazing benefit as well. #herbadaycampaign #rosemary #herbs #herbalist #slanginherbs #circulation #hairgrowth #dallasherbalist #eyehealth

Irish Sea Moss Gel: Fresh Batch, Mineral Rich, and Tasty

10/30/2019

I’m making some Irish Sea Moss gel. I usually make it raw. Today I’m brewing it up like my ancestors did. I added spices and going to see how I like it. Irish Moss kept my people alive during the Great Potato Famine. They boiled it with spices and milk and sugar. I’m not using the milk and sugar but am going to make me some with coconut milk and agave.
I always feel so close to this herb. Like a legit connection to the people I come from. If it weren’t for Irish moss I might not be here.

Herbal Tea of the Day: Ahhh, Sticks to My Chilled Bones

Tea of the day : Slippery Elm Bark, Pau D’Arco, Hyssop Herb, Cinnamon, and Chaga Mushroom.
It’s cold here! In the 40s and I wanted a tea that would “Stick to my bones”.. The tea tastes like spiced maple syrup (without the sugar). It’s warming, healing, nourishing, circulating, cleansing, boosting... Look, I’ll drink all of this tea myself, minus what I give to friends to make sure their body is on the right level. If you want a cup though I’ll gladly share with you. It’s brewed at @yearstoyourhealth so come get it while I am willing to share. It’s going to get darker and richer and stronger as the day goes on, just like I like it.

Herb a day Campaign : Oregon Grape. Y’all have to know by now that bitters are our friends right? This herb is great for liver, gall bladder, stomach, spleen, and intestines. The bitters really get these areas of the body awake and working well. It tones the stomach and GI tract and it helpful for stomach ulcers as well as GERD. The skin is one of the organs that Oregon Grape just adores. It helps to provide a cleansing action to the skin in cases like psoriasis and excema. I know of dermatologists who use this herb regularly for their patients. It’s great to stimulate bile and helps to modulate the immune system too. Try a little Oregon grape. #oregongrape #liver #gallbladder #skin #psoriasis #excema #stomach #ulcers #gitract #cleansingherbs

One of my friends is an author. She’s does her job well and she inspires me with how words flow from her. She’s living her passion. She wrote a book and used me as a basis for her main character.

It’s humbling to know that my life’s passion shines through. My point of showing you is to get you to realize that you never know who you are inspiring. Please live to your fullest potential because the reward will be that you’ve helped someone else along in their potential. My heart is so full.

Tea of the day. Slippery Elm Bark, Marshmallow Leaf, Honeybush Tea, Comfrey Root, Ceylon Cinnamon, Yucca Root
Listen up!! The planet is conspiring with us! It’s a beautiful dance if you just open your mind and listen and see. Everything we need is right here. The herbs I used today respectfully came from Bulgaria, South Africa, United States, Croatia, and Sri Lanka. See what I mean?!?! This planet has provided for us.

Given us every single thing we need to thrive. It blows me away. I’m constantly In awe of this dance we get to enjoy day after day. These herbs are the truth. I’ll spend all of my days making sure they get the recognition they rightfully deserve.
