![]() The state of wellness, not merely being free of injury or illness. Wellbeing. There’s a whole lot that goes into health. It’s a step above. Health isn’t just about being not sick. You have to work at being healthy. Having wellness. There are detriments of Health they are genetics, nutrition, lifestyle, and environmental. There might be a few folks who just have health without trying, but most of us do have to do some work to maintain our wellbeing. The 6 dimensions of wellbeing and health: 1. Physical- maintaining body through exercise, nutrition, sleep, and avoiding harmful habits. 2. Emotional- Being aware and comfortable with your own thoughts and feelings. 3. Spiritual- Having a sense that life has meaning and purpose. 4. Intellectual- Continued learning and being able to connect with others on a cerebral level. 5. Environmental- Respecting nature and your surroundings and doing healthy work focused on conservation. 6. Social- communicating well with others. Being able to contribute and engage in a healthy way. Being able to focus on all areas will help you to maintain health and wellness.
