Trying to become more fit and as a result of that, healthier. But, when you’re working out hard and using your body more than the usual, you can have the tendency to get sore. That’s where this beautiful little flower enters scene. Arnica really helps with reducing pain, swelling , and inflammation. It’s not just exercise that it works on either. It is great for trauma caused from accidents or even surgery. There are a couple ways she is of use here. First, Arnica helps to prevent platelets from gathering at the sight of the trauma. This action helps to reduce the pain and swelling. Prostaglandins are active lipid compounds that control the processes of inflammation, blood flow, and the formation of clots too. If the body has the help to regulate the prostaglandins then there can be less tissue damage. Less damage means faster and more efficient body healing. Studies also show that if you use arnica before physical assertion or even surgery then the body reduces the prostaglandin effect before it even begins. I’ve been working out hard. Harder than I ever have in my life. My body is like whattttt are you doingggg, Dusti?!?! I’ve been feeling muscles I didn’t even know I had. I’ve also been using Arnica gel to soothe my body and help with the healing and fatigue I feel. It lets me recoup and heal before my next session.
