![]() Herb a day Campaign : Sarsaparilla. This herb tastes great. It’s one of the herbs that comprise root beer (a lot of the time with sassafras). His herb is used in regulating hormones. It helps in increase testosterone, progesterone, and cortisol if the body needs to do so. Its benefits are just as effective for women and men. When ladies cycle stay on for too long Sarsaparilla has been shown to help in the balancing of the progesterone to stop the excess menstrual flow. Men love it for the energy and muscle boosting effects they receive. It has great blood cleansing properties as well, so when used regularly, the skin can become more clear and healthy. It doesn’t make the body too relaxed even though it has a very positive effect on relaxing the nervous system. Sarsaparilla is a great herb to nourish those nerves and still be alert and efficient. Because it has some a high amount of bio available iron, people can use it to work on their anemia, or just to keep a “”food” based iron in the system that doesn’t cause any toxicity when used regularly. Drank in a tea is one of my favorite ways to get this herb. Throw in some burdock root, a smidge is Ceylon cinnamon and some anise seeds. Mmmmm. You don’t know what you’re missing! Give it a try and see how it works in your body. #herbs #slanginherbs #sarsaparilla #hormones #anemia #masterherbalist #teas #dallasherbalist #herbadaycampaign #spreadtheknowledge #herbsman! #progesterone #testosterone #cortisol #muscle #skin #herbalist
