I started adding it to salads and such without ever really knowing what is was about. We take our foods for granted and mainly eat for taste. Not everyone, but that’s always been a big thing to me. People get weird about herbs. Im always making it a point to tell them we would eat every single herb out in the world if it tasted good. That helps to normalize herbs to them. Once you start telling them what the basic herbs they consume daily do, they start seeing what you mean. A lot of my Hispanic customers want it for their blood sugar, they feel like it brings their sugar down to a healthier level. It contains a myriad of nutrients which make it a powerhouse from a nourishing standpoint. Lots of vitamin K to help strengthen the bones and teeth. Lots of antioxidants to strengthen the immune system. Lots of carotenoids like Lutein and zeaxanthin to help with eye health. It even has omega 3. Not too many plants can boast that! Do yourself a favor and start reading the health benefits of the herbs and spices you use all the time. You might be pleasantly surprised to find out they are keeping your body healthier by being in your daily diet. I’m working on a series of courses to teach others about herbs and health and pretty much anything else I’m interested in. If this piques your interest, leave a comment and I’ll make sure to let you know when they’re ready. #watercress #herb #herbs #herbalist #herbadaycampaign #dallasherbalist #nourishingtraditions #helpingothers #teacher #courses #masterherbalist #iloveherbs #herbnerd #pancreas #antioxidant #naturalhealing #naturespharmacy #naturesbounty #naturalista #knowledge #helpasistahout #alllove #eyehealth #bonehealth #teethhealth #onandonandon
