Tea of the day: Astragalus Root, Marshmallow Root, Cinnamon Bark.
Hear me out. A lot of the times when the immune system activates to fight infection, it deploys lots of workers to the site of infection. For killing purposes as well as repair and protection. When a battle is being waged the area of this battle gets congested. Full of good and bad guys fighting for the top space. If there are too many fighters, either good or bad, it’s hard to get new supplies through to where they belong. When we are speaking of our immune system in this instance, some herbs might have the ability to calm. To modulate the way the system overreacts. I liken it to your friend listening to your worries and patting your back or giving you a good hug. This helps you to calm down and take a step back and regroup. So maybe the herbs will do this for us when our body is working super duper hard to keep infection at bay. If I was to make a tea today to do that I would probably use Astragalus, Marshmallow. I might even toss in Slippery Elm Bark and Kallawalla. If I didn’t know about these herbs I most certainly would take some time to learn about them and their effects on my body. Sending you thoughts for a calm heart, diligence and health.
