Tea of the day : Hibiscus, Pau D’Arco, Lemon, Orange, Ceylon Cinnamon, Coriander Seed, Rosehips, and Lemongrass
Some days I want bright fruity teas. Some days it’s mellow and sublime. Today I’m happy with the bright and fruity. Making and drinking herbal teas is a whole situation for me. It doesn’t matter what combination I decide to throw together, I’m still going to get benefits from it. Sometimes I want to make my tastebuds dance. But as most of us know, some herb’s flavor are ALOT! If I have someone new to drinking teas I usually let them down softly with a nice flavor tea that does the job. As they get used to all the new flavors I’ll make them stronger, tangier, a bit more bitter. Our body loves all these flavors. Our tastebuds might be slow to the party but our body instinctively knows it’s going to do us good. Some of the stout tasting herbs that I really enjoy are Osha Root, Black Seeds, Dong Quai and Schisandra. What herbs do you like with it’s strong flavor?
